Tensions soar on Fair City tonight as Damien berates James for leaving him to deal with the locals’ reactions to the revised development plans.
James cautions Damien to get the locals on board with the new plans for the development. But Damien tells Mairead he will resign as project manager of the development.
All hell breaks loose later as Damien hands in his resignation and asks James for his investment back.

He and Mairead are shocked when James insists their money can only be returned once the development is completed.
They then panic as they realise they will lose their investment if the development fails. Mairead tells Damien to get his job as project manager back to ensure the development is completed.
She goes on to warn Damien that no-one must find out about their investment.
There’s trouble in paradise elsewhere as Renee is not won over by Pete’s attempts at reconciliation.
She then learns that Pete has passed his community centre duties onto Cass.
And when she and Olwen discover that the community centre board is composed solely of men, they start a petition to instate a female chairperson.
Elsewhere, Anna agrees to move to Halpins’ but Dean senses Anna is apprehensive about it.
Anna is a little disconcerted by Leo and Ray’s neighbourly welcome and Anna hides her reservation.
But Dean tries to reassure her.
