FAIMS writes to Union Health Minister over decision to change name of AIIMS Delhi

New Delhi: The Faculty Association of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (FAIMS) has shown concern over the name changing of AIIMS and wrote a letter to Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya regarding this matter on Thursday.

"FAIMS came to know from the media regarding the news of a proposal of changing the name of AIIMS with the name of a famous personality or place. FAIMS had sort opinions from all faculty members regarding this proposal all faculty members and unanimously share their opposition to changing the name of AIIMS, Delhi," reads the letter.
