Holders St Patrick's Athletic have been drawn against First Division Waterford in the first round of the FAI Cup.
The in-form Blues recently appointed Danny Searle as their new head coach and will travel to Richmond Park to take on the Saints, who are currently fourth in the Premier Division.
The first round draw featured 32 teams in total, including 13 non-league clubs and four of the ties are all non-league club affairs.
But Bangor City have hit the jackpot by drawing current Premier Division leaders Shamrock Rovers, while Oliver Bond Celtic will travel to the Brandywell to face five-time winners Derry City.
Other stand-out ties are the all-Cork affair between Cork City and Cobh Ramblers, who are both in the First Division, and one all-Premier Division clash - Finn Harps at home to Bohemians.
The Gypsies lost out to St Pat's in last year's decider at the Aviva Stadium after extra-time.
Ties to be played week ending July 31.
