In a prerecorded video at the Republican National Convention, former President Donald Trump reiterated baseless claims that the 2020 election was stolen, alleging that Democrats cheated to secure President Joe Biden's victory. However, the facts tell a different story.

The truth is that the election was not stolen. President Biden won the election fair and square, earning 306 electoral votes compared to Trump's 232. This victory mirrored Trump's own electoral college win in 2016, which he proudly referred to as a 'landslide.'

Biden's success in key battleground states like Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Arizona, and Georgia solidified his electoral college victory. Despite Trump's repeated claims of massive voter fraud, these allegations have been debunked by numerous judges, state election officials, and even members of his own administration.

Former Attorney General William Barr stated that no evidence of widespread voter fraud had been found in the 2020 election. He emphasized that there was no fraud on a scale that could have altered the election outcome. These statements further disprove Trump's unfounded allegations of cheating and rigging.

It is crucial to rely on verified facts and credible sources when evaluating claims of election fraud. The integrity of the electoral process must be upheld to ensure a fair and democratic outcome. As the nation moves forward, it is essential to acknowledge the truth and reject baseless conspiracy theories that undermine the legitimacy of our democratic institutions.
