Facebook has filed court documents rejecting claims by Australian billionaire Andrew Forrest that it should be held liable for cryptocurrency scam ads bearing Forrest’s unauthorised image, in part arguing the company’s terms of service protect it from liability.
The social media giant has argued in court documents filed in California in January that because Forrest has a Facebook account, he has agreed to the company’s terms and conditions, which they allege protect it from liability.
