Thousands of users are currently reported issues accessing and using social media platform Facebook.
According to DownDetector, around 2,000 people have logged outages accessing Facebook in the past 24 hours. People have also taken to Twitter to complain about issues surrounding the app.
Miko said: "Facebook is down atm then", while Nikki said: "I thought I was in Facebook jail again [laughing emoji], I guess it's down right now". Jah said: "It appears Facebook is down or experiencing some sort of glitch at the moment".

Around half of DownDetector complaints are from people trying to use the app, while 42% are from those trying to use the website. It is not yet known what the cause of any issues are, or when they will be rectified.
