Hundreds of Facebook users have been reporting that the platform is down over the last half an hour, as of 4.40pm on Tuesday (April 11). The social media giant is experiencing problems including with its search function.
The Down Detector website said there were 776 reports of outages in the minutes up to 4.25pm, compared with just four shortly before 3.55pm. It estimates that 57% of the outages were on the app, 33% on the website, and 10% on login. A map shows people in various locations across the UK are experiencing difficulties.
UPDATE: The number of reports of outages has decreased to 43 in the minutes up to 5.05pm.
