Face of man 'thrown off cliff' in Donegal as it emerges he faced trial over drug smuggling

This is the first picture of the man who it is suspected was thrown off a cliff - just months before he was due to stand trial on drug smuggling charges.

The body recovered from the water beside Donegal’s Slieve League on Monday is thought to be Robin Wilkin.

Locals knew him widely as Robin, but he also went by the name of Robert Wilkin, aged in his late 60s, is originally from Co Tyrone and worked as a lorry driver.
