Health and social care workers will no longer be required to wear face masks from next week, the Scottish Government has announced.
Staff, patients and visitors to healthcare centres will be able to move around without a face covering from Tuesday, more than three years after the protocol was introduced in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
The rule change comes after the Scottish Government said the country has now entered a “calmer phase” of the pandemic.
