Fabio Vieira will excite Arsenal faithful in Premier League, according to Portugal star

Former Southampton, Crystal Palace and West Ham defender Jose Fonte has told Arsenal fans to be 'very excited' about the signing of 22-year-old creative midfielder Fabio Vieira.

Earlier this week, the Portugal U21 international completed his move to the Emirates after Arsenal and Porto agreed on a £34 million deal, with Fonte now stating that he is looking forward to seeing how Vieira fairs in England's top flight.

“He’s a very exciting young player who is very talented on the ball and intelligent,” he said. “Arsenal fans should be very excited because he’s the sort of player that they’ll like and I’m looking forward to seeing him in the Premier League.”
