Mikel Arteta has encouraged Fabio Vieira to 'do more' despite his quality following Arsenal's 3-0 win over Bodo/Glimt. The 22-year-old, who joined the Gunners from Porto in the summer for a fee in the region of £34million, impressed his boss as he scored his first goal for the club.
Eddie Nketiah opened the scoring for the north Londoners before Rob Holding doubled Arsenal's lead just a few minutes later. Vieira polished off the fixture with the third and final of the game, extending his side's lead at the top of Group A in the Europa League.
The Portugal international was subject to great praise from Joe Cole and Martin Keown as he completed his first 90 minutes since joining. But, Arteta has insisted that there is still room for improvement for Vieira, handing the midfielder an honest assessment of his progress.
