Fabio Paratici's next four Tottenham contract priorities after new Ben Davies deal

Ben Davies has committed his long-term future to Tottenham after signing a new three-year contract in N17. The Welshman is now under contract until the summer of 2025, meaning he will have completed 11 years at the club if he sees out his new deal.

A key member of Antonio Conte's backline since the head coach's arrival at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Spurs clearly see Davies as a vital player over the coming years having offered him fresh terms. Speaking to SpursTV after putting pen-to-paper, the 29-year-old admitted that it was a no-brainer to extend his stay.

"After last season and the summer the club's just had, there's no more exciting time to be at this club," he explained. "I'm enjoying my football and when the opportunity from the club came to extend my contract, I was more than happy to do so. I've had some really enjoyable times here, it really feels like home now and the story continues."

Planning for the next few years by securing Davies to a longer contract, Fabio Paratici and Tottenham may want to do exactly the same with a number of the current squad. So who should be next in line for a new deal? football.london takes a look.

Harry Kane

Kane is now in the last two years of his Tottenham contract, having previously signed a six-year deal in June 2018. Heavily tipped to lose him 12 months ago with Man City keen to lure him to the Etihad Stadium, there is now so much hope at the club one year on with Conte at the helm.

Linked with Bayern Munich last week, Tottenham fans are desperate for Kane to commit his future to the Lilywhites and sign a new long-term deal. Given all the optimism in N17 at present, a new contract for Spurs' No.10 would really top off a great summer.

Eric Dier

Two years on from extending his stay at the club, Spurs may want to look at offering Dier a new deal in the not too distant future. In the same boat as Kane as he is now in the final two years of his contract, it may be in the best interests of all parties for the player to sign on the dotted line once again.

A regular at centre-back under the previous managers, Dier has taking his game to another level under Conte and he is such a key part of his back three. Tottenham need to ensure he is still at the club beyond 2024.

Troy Parrott

Republic of Ireland international Parrott looks set to be the next player to sign a new contract. Returning from a successful loan in League One with MK Dons, Parrott is on the verge of joining Championship side Preston North End on loan as he is undergoing a medical at the club on Monday.

As well as his season-long move to Preston, football.london reported on Sunday that the young striker will pen a new contract with Spurs. Another good loan spell for the player and he may be ready to challenge for a place in the Tottenham squad.

Antonio Conte

All the hope and confidence going into the new season is down to the great job Conte has done since his appointment last November. Securing Champions League football for the Lilywhites, the club have strengthened this summer with six new players and they may not be done just there.

The Italian's track record in the game shows that he can take Tottenham places and all connected with the club will want him to remain for a very long time. Contracted until the summer of 2023, with the club having an option to extend, a new long-term deal for the boss would go down incredibly well.
