Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler has confirmed Luka Vuskovic is expected to be fit for Saturday's Premier League clash against Arsenal.
Vuskovic, a £50 million summer arrival from Tottenham, has been an ever-present for the Seagulls this season, starting all four Premier League matches and the Conference League play-off win over Tromso.
The Croatia international also started and played the full 90 minutes of Brighton's comeback win over Manchester United in the Carabao Cup third round on Wednesday night.
While it has been revealed that Vuskovic picked up a knock at Old Trafford, he is expected to recover in time to be in contention to face the Gunners.
Speaking in the pre-match press conference on Friday morning, Hurzeler said: "He's young. He will recover fast and then he definitely will be an option for tomorrow."
Brighton welcome the Gunners to the Amex Stadium seeking to avoid a fourth straight defeat at the hands of the defending Premier League champions.
Hopes of gaining revenge for the 1-0 loss in the corresponding fixture have been boosted after Hurzeler revealed that there are no fresh injury concerns despite concerns over Jaouen Hadjam after he was forced off on his debut against Man United.
Hadjam was handed a start in Brighton colours for the first time in the aforementioned Carabao Cup tie, but his involvement came to an end around 15 minutes from time after picking up a knock.
He received treatment from the Brighton medical staff and required assistance in being helped off the pitch as he was replaced by Ferdi Kadioglu.
"He is able to play,” Hurzeler said of the left-back. “Besides that, there are no new injury concerns. Rutter made his comeback against United. He looked good."
Brighton, though, are set to be without nine senior players for the visit of Arsenal as Stefanos Tzimas Yankuba Minteh, Kaoru Mitoma, Jack Hinshelwood, Mats Wieffer, Femi Azeez, Michael Svoboda, Zadok Yohanna and Evan Ferguson are all longer-term injury casualties.
