FA Cup quarter-final draw in full: Fulham face Manchester United as Grimsby learn reward for Southampton upset

Fulham will head to Old Trafford to face Manchester United in the FA Cup quarter-finals.

The Red Devils saw off a spirited West Ham performance on Wednesday night to book their spot in the last eight of a competition the Cottagers had hoped to go far in, amid their push for a surprise European finish in the Premier League.

But not many sides will envy Fulham heading north for the quarter-finals when they are played later this month, on the weekend of March 18/19.

Grimsby also face a difficult trip after shocking Southampton at St Mary’s. The League Two club will return to the South Coast to take on high-flying Brighton.

The Seagulls are another fancying their chances at silverware in an open draw that the Manchester sides can hope to dominate after avoiding each other.

Like their neighbours, Manchester City were drawn at home, to a Burnley side leading the Championship and managed by former captain Vincent Kompany.

At least one lower-league club will reach the Wembley semi-finals after Sheffield United were drawn to face Blackburn at Bramall Lane, the second-tier sides having knocked out Tottenham and Leicester respectively.
