F1 Spanish Grand Prix live stream 2024 — how to watch race highlights and full replay, results

Red Bull's Dutch driver Max Verstappen takes part in the second free practice session of the Spanish Formula One Grand Prix at the Circuit de Catalunya on June 2, 2023 in Montmelo, on the outskirts of Barcelona.

Having reached the 10th Grand Prix of the season, the Spanish G.P. was an intriguing one. Lando Norris's breakout season continued with pole position, and he sat on the front row with champion Max Verstappen. Didn't catch it? And you can watch the Spain Grand Prix F1 replay and highlights streams with this guide.

The McLaren driver really is an impressive young man and he's shown a maturity well beyond his 24 years during the 2024 Formula 1 season. Realistically, it's probably going to be a battle for second again, but a win in Barcelona will have seen him leapfrog Charles Leclerc.

Lewis Hamilton looks like a man rejuvenated and shared the second row with Mercedes teammate George Russell. It felt like a very different kind of Grand Prix in the lead up at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

This guide will explain exactly how you can watch Spain Grand Prix streams from anywhere with a VPN — and potentially for FREE — with full replay and highlight options explained. We won't give you any spoilers, other than a full race result at the bottom of this page.

The 2024 Spanish Grand Prix takes place over 66 laps of the 4.657-kilometre Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

Despite the illustrious 111-year history of the Spanish Grand Prix, it has only been raced at its current venue since 1991. It has developed a fantastic reputation with the drivers over those three decades, with its appetizing home straight that lets them push the cars to their maximum speed.

Outside of that, it's a challenging place to come, with a satisfying mixture of slow and fast corners.

Spanish Grand Prix FAQ

So, that's how to watch the Spanish Grand Prix and all the race timings sorted. Now here's an F1 Spain FAQ for everything else you want to know about the upcoming race.

What were the 2024 Spain G.P. qualifying results?

Lando Norris produced a remarkable, last-gasp qualifying lap of 1:11.383 to pip Max Verstappen to pole position at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

It's been an excellent weekend for the British drivers so far, with Lewis Hamilton and George Russell making up the second row. Hamilton in particular has looked good at a track where's won a total of six times before, recording the fastest time in Q1. And it's dual Ferraris on row three.

Sergio Perez's disappointing season continues in the Red Bull, starting all the way back in 11th on the grid after having to stomach a three-place penalty.

What are the odds and predictions for the 2024 Spain GP?

Going into Sunday's race, Max Verstappen is odds-on favorite to win the Grand Prix, despite starting it from second on the grid.

Pole-sitter Lando Norris is next, with fellow Brits Lewis Hamilton and George Russell at 10/1 and 18/1 respectively. Ferrari duo Charles Leclerc (25/1) and Carlos Sainz (33/1) are next.

What will the weather be like at the 2024 Spain Grand Prix?

It's warm in Barcelona, but the skies are quite cloudy. So don't expect any need for wet tyre strategies this weekend.

When is the next race?

The 2024 Austrian GP follows the Spanish GP. There's a one-week gap between race weekends, with the next Grand Prix taking place at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg on Sunday, June 30.

Who won the 2023 Spanish Grand Prix?

Red Bull's Max Verstappen won the 2023 Spanish GP, finishing with a time of 1:27:57.940.

It was another dominant victory at a happy hunting ground for the Dutch driver — he claimed his first ever victory at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya and has won it the last two years running — sweeping to pole position, before leading the race itself from lights out to the checkered flag.

What is the lap record at Spanish Grand Prix?

Max Verstappen set the lap record of 1:16.330 at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya during his dominant 2023 victory.

Spanish Grand Prix winners

Lewis Hamilton (5) and Max Verstappen (3) have won the last eight Spanish Grand Prix between them. Hamilton is the joint overall record winner at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya — he and Michael Schumacher both have six victories.

British driver Nigel Mansell won the first two iterations at the current circuit in 1991 and 1992, and fellow countryman Jackie Stewart won the Spain GP three times on the trot between 1969 and 1971; twice at the Montjuic street circuit in Barcelona, and once at the Circuito del Jarama a little north of Madrid.
