F1 drivers welcome 2026: From Lewis Hamilton at Kate Hudson's party to Esteban Ocon's Disneyland trip

The Formula 1 drivers have welcomed in the New Year in various fashions. From four-time champion Max Verstappen celebrating on a yacht to Haas driver Esteban Ocon enjoying time at Disneyland, here is how some of the drivers spent the occasion.

Lando Norris

While Norris has not posted anything himself, it seems as though he was away in the Caribbean with his partner Magui Corceiro, his friend Max Fewtrell and his partner Pietra Pilao.

Oscar Piastri

Similar to his McLaren team-mate, Piastri has not posted anything from New Year's Eve, but various social media reports note that the Australian was seen enjoying some time at a vineyard in his home country with his partner Lily Zneimer.

Max Verstappen

Max Verstappen's partner Kelly Piquet shared photos of the couple celebrating the occasion on a yacht with friends on her Instagram story. The group brought in the New Year in style on the water, watching the fireworks.

Lewis Hamilton

Lewis Hamilton was spotted in Aspen and has been confirmed by Vogue to have attended actress Kate Hudson's lavish New Year's Eve party. The seven-time champion is reported to be one of many celebrities, including Bella Hadid and Kim Kardashian, at the star-studded event.

Alex Albon

Williams driver Alex Albon closed the year out with his partner, professional golfer Lily Muni He, in Bhutan.

"Ending our year in Bhutan, a country of untouched beauty and the kindest, most welcoming people. A reminder of what really matters as we step into a new year," the 29-year-old driver wrote.

Esteban Ocon

Haas driver Esteban Ocon shared some snaps from a trip to Disneyland with his partner, Flavy Barla.

"Happy New Year from me, Flavy, Mickey & Minnie! Wishing everyone joy, health, and beautiful moments ahead."

Oliver Bearman

While it is unclear how Oliver Bearman celebrated the New Year, the Briton posted a few photos of his 2025 highlights, including a photo of him and his partner Alicia Torriani dressed up for the night.

"Saying goodbye to 2025. Thank you to everyone that made it what it was. No doubt the longest, most challenging year so far, but easily the most rewarding," he wrote.

"Couldn’t be prouder of everyone at Haas. The progression we made throughout the year was really something special. 2026!"

Pierre Gasly

Alpine's Pierre Gasly closed out 2025 on the ski slopes with his partner, Francisca Gomes.
