An inquest has heard Max Mosley shot himself dead after he discovered he had terminal cancer.
The 81-year-old was found dead at his home in London last May with “significant injuries consistent with a gunshot wound", Westminster's Coroner Court heard today. The ex-Formula 1 boss had been diagnosed with lymphoma in 2019, and he was receiving palliative care at the time of his death.
The court heard that a note had been found nailed to Mr Mosley's bedroom door on on May 24. It read: “Do not enter, call the police”. Police were called and officers found Mosley on his bed, The Daily Star reports.
