Pilot in stable condition after ejecting from crashed F-35B jet in California

A US Marine Corps F-35B stealth fighter crashed in California on Friday, though its pilot is expected to survive after ejecting from the aircraft. The incident occurred near the Miramar air base in San Diego.

The Marine Corps confirmed the pilot's condition in an updated statement, saying: "The pilot ejected, was transported to a local medical facility in stable condition for evaluation and treatment of non-life-threatening injuries."
