Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker has praised the passing talent of his team-mate Trent Alexander-Arnold.
The Reds were 3-1 winner over Benfica on Tuesday in the Champions League quarter-final first leg, with goals from Ibrahima Konate, Sadio Mane and Luis Diaz giving the team comfortable lead ahead of the upcoming second leg at Anfield.
The pick of the goals was arguably Liverpool 's second, as Alexander-Arnold's arrowed long pass was cushioned into Mane's path by a deft Diaz header.
It was a reminder of what Alexander-Arnold can offer to the Reds, as he missed the 2-0 win over Watford on Saturday due to injury. The 23-year-old has a remarkable 15 assists in all competitions this season and is rated as one of the most creative players in world football.
PAUL GORST: What Liverpool fans sang after Luis Diaz goal says a lot about Jurgen Klopp
Speaking about the right-back after the game to LFCTV, Alisson praised Alexander-Arnold's extraordinary passing class.
"Sometimes it looks like he has eyes at his back," said the Brazil international. "Because sometimes he just gets the ball and shoots the diagonal ball for Luis - it was amazing.
"The decision that Luis had to give the ball to Sadio to score, it was an amazing goal. Everyone can score in the team, which is good for us. We just go on, keep on going and go for the next."
Alisson also had words of praise for Konate, who opened the scoring in Lisbon with a thunderous header from a corner.
"Yeah he is really important for us," he said of Konate. "He is a young player, big talent, lot of qualities, top defender, good guy. Really nice person as well. I'm happy to have him on the team and we can count on him to score goals."
