It now appears almost certain that Liverpool's third kit for the 2023/2024 season will be purple with several images of the Nike-produced design continuing to appear online.
While pictures of a purple shirt could be found across social media dating back to the turn of the year, any doubts over the colour of shorts seem to have now been put to bed.
Kit enthusiast @KB2X has this week shared images of the shorts, which seem to copy the colour and camo pattern of the shirt, with a black line appearing to run down either side. It is expected that purple socks will also be worn as part of the kit.

The Liverpool crest will be all-white throughout the kit, as will the branding of sponsors Standard Charted and kit manufacturers Nike.
If the third kit is, indeed, to be confirmed as purple, it would be the first time that a Liverpool outfield kit has been of the colour since the 2018/2019 away shirt.
Varying degrees of purple also last featured on third kits during the 2013/2014 campaign and the 2012/2013 season under Brendan Rodgers.
It should be stressed, however, that the design in question has not yet been officially confirmed alongside Liverpool's away kit for the forthcoming season. Liverpool are expected to release their new third kit late in the summer.
The Reds' home kit has, of course, been confirmed and was even worn during the last home match of the 2022/2023 season, a 1-1 draw against Aston Villa. It pays tribute to that worn in the 1965 FA Cup triumph.
