Extreme wild camper endures sleet, rain and now during mammoth 40-night camp out

An extreme camper who endured four storms, wind, rain and snow has completed his mammoth 40 night camp out for charity.

Colin Russell, from Ayr, braved sub-zero temperatures to mark the 40th anniversary of Ayrshire Cancer Support and raise funds to help the charity continue their good work across the region.

The fearless wild camper has so far raised a whopping £2385 for the charity who he said he is forever grateful for after helping his mum with free transport to hospital appointments.
