Most of the sales in Oxton during the last year were terraced properties, selling for an average price of £132,294. Semi-detached properties sold for an average of £231,786, with flats fetching £128,675.
Overall, sold prices in Oxton over the last year were 6% down on the previous year and 21% up on the 2016 peak of £162,735. Homes of a similar size of Peristil, within 0.3miles radius, are currently under offer after being listed for £600,000 on Duncote Close, £650,000 on Village Road and £450,000 on Knoll.
Whereas other properties sold within moments of being on the market for £482,850 on Wellington Road and £320,000 on Village Road. Intricate detailing throughout is apparent from the interior images of the home.
Features throughout the ground floor, and the rest of the property, are described as "dramatic" with carved woodwork, period fireplaces, beams and panelling. On the first and second floors are the bedrooms and bathrooms.
The main bedroom is particularly large and replicating the ground floor reception with its inglenook. The second largest also comes with en-suite shower room. The fourth bedroom is said to be more suited as a nursery or home office.
With access via a iron spiral staircase, there are two open plan dormer rooms on the top floor. There's also a fold away loft ladder located on the main landing; which provides access.
Though it has not yet been transformed, the top floor could be turned into a further two large bedrooms with Jack and Jill en-suites. Detached but still on the plot, there's also a garage which could be further transformed into a home gym or office.
