Outreach services will be provided to homeless people at risk due to the heatwave.
Sunscreen and water will be distributed to the homeless in the city as temperatures could hit highs of 33 degrees. The public will be asked to report people sleeping rough during the hot weather.
Dublin City Council is coordinating the response to ensure homeless people at risk are sheltered for the duration of the heatwave. A spokesman said: "In response to the hot weather warning expected over the coming days, arrangements are in place with service providers to ensure that temporary shelter will continue to be available to all who wish to access it."
