A car owner has taken to Reddit to share their DoneDeal woes after their motor was allegedly stolen during a test drive.
The owner explained that they got a call from a woman shortly after placing their car up for sale on their site.
She went to take the car for a test spin without the owner in the car - and just drove away.

The Dubliner was left perplexed when she didn't stop.
They wrote: "So something extremely weird happened today. I posted my car ad on Done Deal.
"After posting the ad, I immediately got a call from a girl for showing the car. I called her at my place, and went through all the details of the car.
"Furthermore, she asked for a test ride and I pointed her, she can take towards the Cul de Sac, she agreed and took the car.
"Then she turned the car from Cul de Sac and just went pass by me even I signalled for stopping it. This is something weird, I approached to Garda now, i don't know what to do now, my car is gone.
"You cannot trust anyone. Gosh!!!"
Thankfully, the people of the internet were on hand to lend some friendly advice, and some horror stories of their own.
One wrote: "Something similar recently happened to a few people in my estate. The car owners refused to let the woman drive alone, and the woman always ran away with the car keys.
"Later, she was seen driving around the estate with three other men in the car, presumably looking for the cars that she had the keys of. Garda was called, but the scumbags left before the patrol car arrived."
Another said: "That's mad. She's probably done that a few times by the sounds of it. Sets up a bunch of meets. Most would probably sit in with her. She only needs one or two a day for an earner.
"Sorry to hear that OP. We all have our moments. You've a good nature, don't let it sour you."
And the owner was the butt of more than a few jokes too.
One person said: "If you are selling your car: ALWAYS pack it with explosives in case of theft. (Keep detonator within reach)."
Another wrote: "Has she come back yet?"
A third commented: "Do you happen to have any more cars for sale? Asking for a friend."
