Explainer: Why alcohol could be more 'hazardous' than other drugs

There's no denying that alcohol and substances like crack cocaine, heroin and meth are equally responsible for the downfall of society, causing great harm to a person's physical and mental health. Some may even argue that drugs are more detrimental than alcohol given that the former has highly addictive properties.
