NEW DELHI: Rishabh Pant has been named in India's 16-man squad for the first Test against Bangladesh, marking his return to the Test side after nearly 20 months. Virat Kohli, who had missed the earlier home series against England due to the birth of his second child, and Jasprit Bumrah, absent since the T20 World Cup, have also been included in the squad for the opening Test.
The first Test between India and Bangladesh will kick off on September 19 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, followed by the second and final Test at Green Park Stadium in Kanpur, starting on September 27.
