Experts recommend using hot water bottle to counter sleepless nights during UK heatwave

As the UK continues to experience hot weather, many people are struggling to get a good night's sleep. However, there is a lesser-known solution to make the warm nights a bit more bearable.

Experts from French Bedroom have recommended using a hot water bottle - but not in the traditional way. They have explained how people can make the most out of this winter tool to stay cool during the summer.

As reported by Manchester Evening News, the experts advise to fill the bottle with ice cold water instead. This can help cool you and your sheets which will help you sleep better.

There are other methods, of course, that can help you sleep during the hot nights. For instance, many people decide to sleep with a duvet of a tog rating between 1-4.5.

Likewise, natural fibre bedding such as linen and silk can make you more comfortable at night. In terms of pillows, something firm rather than fluffy will help disperse heat.
