Baby names fall in and out of trend all the time - so it's important to pick a name that your child can grow with. New data has revealed its predictions for the most popular boy and girl names for 2023, with Oliver and Olivia cementing their spots in the top 10 for another year.
However, there are 10 new names rising in popularity that could soon replace them, which is great news for parents in search of a well-known but not overused name.
The baby name experts from Names.org said: "In past years, our predictions have proven to be some of the most accurate (if not the most accurate) name predictions online.
"From 2018 to 2021, 95 percent of our predictions were in the actual top 10 once official numbers were released. Official numbers for 2022 are not yet available to compare to our predictions last year."

The names.org team added: "Each year, the Social Security Administration publishes the totals for the first names from all Social Security card applications for births that occurred in the US since 1880.
"The publication is the most complete record of first name usage in the United States.
"Because Social Security can take quite a while to compile data on the most popular baby names for each year, we've combined data on the actual births in recent years with user interest on our site to predict the most popular baby names of 2023.
"Our formula looks at the most recent data from the Social Security Administration along with several previous years to detect any trends.
"It also compares user interest from the millions of visitors we get each month. User interest is compared over time as well as relative to other names to make the predictions."
