Once considered a niche choice and restricted more to specialist wine shops than supermarket shelves, this golden-hued style has been gaining popularity. One affordable bottle from Sainsbury’s has caught the attention of TikTok wine creator Candace Strickland, known as This Wine Woman, who described it as a “charming” choice with a “zingy” finish.
The bottle in question is Sainsbury’s taste the difference discovery no. 57 orange wine, a £11 French wine that offers an easy and relatively affordable introduction to the increasingly popular category.
