Merseyside has been hit with a cold snap as temperatures plummeted this week.
The Met Office issued a yellow weather alert has parts of the region were left blanketed with snow. An inconvenient bi-product of the freezing temperatures is that it can cause extra condensation in your home.
Many homes across the city have now had double glazing installed, but a window expert warned this can still cause condensation. Allan Reid, the Founder of Art Windows & Doors, said: "While double glazing is effective in preventing some condensation, the colder conditions can, unfortunately, bring mould regardless."
