Expert says William looked 'dour' and 'miserable' at Garter Day after Andrew row

Prince Andrew was not seen in public during the Order of Garter ceremony after Prince Charles and Prince William reportedly campaigned to the Queen about his participation. It was reported in the Evening Standard, that William was "so alarmed" at the prospect of Andrew at the event, that he warned he would pull out of the ceremony if his disgraced uncle was allowed to take part.

But body language expert Judi James said Prince William cut a "dour and miserable-looking figure" at the Order of Garter ceremony despite the royals taking a “family decision” to limit Prince Andrew's appearance to a behind-the-scenes lunch and investiture ceremony.

Judi told the Mirror: "William cut a dour and rather miserable-looking figure at the Garter procession, with his body language suggesting he was almost determined to sustain an unsmiling expression despite the fact that Princess Anne and Charles and Camilla were all smiles and acknowledgement to the crowds."
