Expert issues warning over common phone charging habit which could damage battery

An expert has issued a warning to those who charge their mobile phones overnight, as they could be doing more harm than good.

While many people are in the habit of plugging their mobile phone in when they go to sleep to wake up to 100 per cent battery life, they could actually be wearing down their batteries faster than usual.

Rather than leaving it plugged in for hours, charging your phone on-the-go might be better for your phone's overall health, the Daily Record reports.
