The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge had a 'treat' planned for Prince George on Sunday, July 10 when the royal couple took their eldest son to watch the men's singles final at Wimbledon. Sitting in the Royal Box, the young prince looked very smart in his suit and tie as he watched Djokovic beat Kyrgios on Centre Court.
But, with the heatwave taking hold of the UK, George became increasingly uncomfortable as the temperature rose. The eldest Cambridge child had no choice but to wear a suit in order to comply with Royal Box attire rules, which state that men have to wear a tie and a jacket, reports The Mirror.
Meanwhile, as tennis fans tuned in to watch the event, some were concerned for George as they called for him to wear something cooler. Of course, this is not the first time the eight-year-old has donned a suit at a major sporting event.

Last year, George attended the Euro 2020 matches between England and Germany, and England and Italy. As he sat in the Royal Box at Wembley, George wore a suit, with fans of The Firm asking why he was not allowed to wear an England shirt as many other supporters and children his age were proudly wearing.
But, according to a royal author, the decision for George to wear a suit was made by his mother, the Duchess of Cambridge. Duncan Larcombe told OK! Magazine: "William was apparently keen on the idea [of George wearing a football shirt], but it was Kate, the former commoner, who said no.
"She was showing George that being ’on duty’ requires a different approach… he has to learn to don the royal armour. That doesn’t mean hiding his personality or feelings though – so George was encouraged to leap up and celebrate England scoring, to roar and wave and hug his mum and dad like any normal lad.
"And even to shed a tear when it all ended in heartbreak. George is only just beginning to understand his destiny, but Kate has got the journey planned."
Ahead of the final, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were greeted by the Championships' ball boys and girls, as well as by other members of staff. Prince George is known to be a keen tennis player, and has been having lessons since he was just five years old.
Roger Federer, the eight-time winner of Wimbledon, previously revealed he has given Prince George private lessons and said the youngster has talent with a racquet. He said: "At that stage, it's all about just touching the ball, it's already good."
