NEW DELHI: Australian bowling legend Brett Lee praised Gautam Gambhir's appointment as Team India's head coach, highlighting his on-field aggression and game awareness as beneficial for the Men in Blue.

The BCCI recently announced Gambhir as the new head coach of the Indian team following Rahul Dravid's departure. Gambhir, who guided Kolkata Knight Riders to their third IPL title in 2024 as a mentor, took over after India's T20 World Cup victory ended an 11-year ICC trophy drought in Dravid's final assignment.
