Exclusive Pride of Britain performances from Tom Walker and Tom Grennan

We all watched and wept over the amazing stories on Pride of Britain this week, and loved the exclusive performances from Tom Walker and Tom Grennan. As the stars performed on the Pride of Britain show exclusively, their performances are here in full.

The evening was, as always, a celebration of some incredible people, with stories of bravery and fortitude throughout the evening. And as well as the strength and spirit of humans being marked, there was some good old British music talent which made the evening even more special.

Tom Walker played during a presentation to the people of Ukraine while Tom Grennan teamed with Joel Corry to close the show. 'The Best Is Yet To Come' singer took to Twitter after the event to share how overwhelmed he was with his fans.

He tweeted: "Truly a magical and inspiring evening. Couldn’t have thought of a better to stage for my first TV performance of The Best Is Yet To Come. Thank you @PrideOfBritain @ITV #prideofbritain"

Meanwhile, Tom Grennan and Joel Corry delighted fans closing the show. Playing 'Lionheart' with ticker tape raining down on them, Tom told his Twitter followers what it meant to him: "A real honour to share the stage with so many incredible and inspiring people x"

The annual ceremony, hosted by Carol Vorderman and Ashley Banjo, aims to celebrate the achievements of the nation’s unsung heroes. Nominated by members of the public, they are whittled down to a shortlist from which the judging panel, made up of celebrated figures in national life, chooses the winners who are honoured at the Pride of Britain Awards at London’s Grosvenor House.

Among the star-studded judging panel this year were actor Michael Sheen, Olympic gold medallist Nicola Adams, Radio DJ Adele Roberts, as well as broadcasters Moira Stuart and Kate Garraway. Famous faces including Idris Elba, Dame Mary Berry, Molly-Mae Hague, Tommy Fury, Olly Murs and Labour Party leader Sir Keir Starmer also joined the winners to celebrate their heroism and bravery.

Host Banjo said the UK and the world “need all the love and positivity we can get”.

The Diversity star and presenter told PA: “Whether it be the political climate or the economic climate or what’s happening in the world, wherever we turn right now there seems to be something difficult to deal with.

“So that’s what’s interesting about tonight, all of these people have had something difficult to deal with and they’ve all come ut of it and turned it into a positive.”
