Morocco is set to benefit from increased funding for border control and migration management following the Ceuta crisis at the end of July, as part of a long-awaited partnership agreement with Brussels, EU officials have told Euronews.
The EU is set to finalise a deal for a strategic and comprehensive partnership with Morocco by the end of the year, similar to the one the European Commission concluded with Egypt in 2024, which included a €7.4 billion financial and investment package to boost the country's economy, manage migration, and secure regional stability.
