Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof has heaped praise on new Tottenham signing Dejan Kulusevski.
Signed from Juventus on transfer deadline day with Spurs intent on strengthening their attack, the Sweden international has made a huge impression in his eight appearances for his new club.
Now with two goals and three assists for Antonio Conte's side since swapping Turin for Tottenham, Kulusevski grabbed two of his assists in Monday's convincing 5-0 win over Everton.
Forming such a good understanding with Harry Kane and Son Heung-min in attack already, the trio have a big role to play as the team look to clinch a place in the Champions League after two seasons away.
One player who knows Kulusevski very well is Red Devils defender Lindelof, who he plays alongside for the Swedish national side.
With Tottenham facing Manchester United in a crucial game in the top-four race, Lindelof has delivered his verdict on his fellow countryman.
"I think he's a great player with some great technique, and he's a smart player as well," he said when speaking in Manchester United's official matchday programme.
"Of course, he's from Sweden so I always want my Swedish friends to do well, but not against us.
"He's a great player and also a young player and I'm happy for him that he's been able to perform at a high level."
Victorious in the last encounter between the sides as they clinched a 3-0 win at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium back in October, Lindelof is expecting a very hard game at Old Trafford on Saturday evening.
"The same as before. It's going to be a tough game like always, they have really good players," he added.
"I think they've been having some good performances and maybe some games not the best, but it's going to be a very, very hard game and we really need to be at our best to get the three points."
