The sun was shining across Leeds on Thursday and temperatures saw people queuing up at ice cream vans and sitting in beer gardens.
The good news is that the warm weather is set to stick around this Friday and into the weekend. After a rocky June leaving people unsure if they need an umbrella, sunglasses, or a wind breaker, now a predicted heatwave is predicted over the weekend.
According to the Met Office Leeds will see weather turn warmer and brighter as temperatures reach 23-24C across the region - with fears of water shortage and a hosepipe ban coming into place by the end of July.
