Former Golden State Warriors president and general manager and current ESPN broadcaster Bob Myers knows a thing or two about greatness on a basketball court, having played for the UCLA Bruins at the college level, and helmed the NBA team responsible for winning many of the titles of the last decade of championships in the Association.
So when Myers is jumping on the Boston Celtics hype train after they thumped his Dubs in historic fashion, fans of the league not already on said hype train may want to consider picking up a ticket before they end up being sold out.
Speaking on a recent episode of the popular ESPN show “NBA Countdown,” Myers sung the praises of an ascendant Celtics squad taking his former club to pieces before his very eyes.
Take a look at the clip embedded above to hear what the former Golden State team president had to say about the Celtics’ big win over the Warriors on Sunday.
