Paige VanZant's bare-knuckle boxing career will likely be over if the former UFC star doesn't make her return to the ring in April.
VanZant, 28, signed with bare-knuckle promotion BKFC in a multi-million dollar deal after leaving the UFC in 2020. Things haven't gone VanZant's way since ditching her MMA gloves as she has lost fights to Britain Hart and Rachael Ostovich in bare-knuckle boxing. BKFC president David Feldman is hoping to schedule VanZant at an upcoming event on April 29 and thinks her stint in the promotion will be over if she doesn't compete on that date.
“I’m going to be talking to her this week and there’s a possibility that she returns on a big card we’ve got in April," Feldman told Mirror Fighting . "If she doesn’t, then it’s probable that she won’t be coming back to BKFC. She’s making a lot of money doing her other businesses and maybe she doesn’t want to do this anymore, I will find out this week.
