Former Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel will take part in his third interview for a head coaching vacancy.
Per ESPN’s Jeff Darlington, Vrabel will get a look from the Carolina Panthers on Thursday. The interview comes one day after he was interviewed by the Atlanta Falcons.
Vrabel was also a candidate for the Los Angeles Chargers’ job, but that has since been taken by now-former University of Michigan head coach, Jim Harbaugh.
As was the case with the Chargers, Vrabel will have stiff competition for the Falcons job, as his former head coach with the New England Patriots, Bill Belichick, is also in the running and has received a second interview.
While Vrabel continues to make the rounds, the Titans have found his replacement in former Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan.
Tennessee made the hire official on Wednesday and will have a press conference for Callahan on Thursday afternoon at 1 p.m. CST.
