Socceroos hopeful Adrian Segecic has helped Portsmouth moved out of the Championship relegation places after scoring in a 1-1 draw at Watford, whose hopes of regaining a playoff berth at the other end of the table were thwarted.

The 21-year-old former Sydney FC and Dordrecht forward put Pompey ahead in the 73rd minute but the hosts levelled through substitute Mamadou Doumbia.
