Ex-Rangers winger Ryan Kent 'rejects 21 summer transfer offers' to stay at Fenerbahce

Former Rangers winger Ryan Kent reportedly turned down a whopping 21 transfer offers this summer.

The ex-Ibrox ace is not part of Jose Mourinho's plans but is set to remain at Fenerbahce.

It was revealed earlier this week that Mourinho even warned Kent he would never play for the club again as long as he is in charge.

Now, Lider Haber reports Kent turned down 21 offers in the summer as he decided against leaving the Super Lig club.

The winger, 27, left Rangers as a free agent to join Fenerbahce but has only played 19 times for the club since signing a four-year deal.

This season, Kent has only featured once for Fenerbahce - in a 4-3 win over FC Lugano in Champions League qualifying, he was on the bench for the second leg.

Since then, Kent has not been part of any of Fenerbahce's matchday squads under Mourinho.

It's reported Kent has put Fenerbahce in a "difficult position" as he refused to leave the club with the most recent four offers turned down.

Greek clubs PAOK and AEK had been keen to sign the winger with Belgian sides Westerlo and Antwerp also interested in a transfer swoop.

Kent, though, rejected offers from all four clubs and appears set to remain in cold storage at Fenerbahce.
