Josh Windass has labelled the atmosphere in Sheffield Wednesday's incredible play-off comeback as the best he's ever experienced.
The former Rangers attacker stepped up in the shootout as the Owls defeated Peterborough United to book a spot at Wembley and will now face Barnsley in a bid to gain promotion to the English Championship. The Posh headed to Hillsborough with a four goal advantage after the first leg and in the driving seat but it was a magic night under the lights for Darren Moore's side who fired twice in the opening 25 minutes to get the fans dreaming through Michael Smith and Lee Gregory.
Reece James then grabbed a third with 20 minutes to go to spark genuine belief that the impossible could become possible before Liam Palmer bundled home in the 98th minute to cause wild scenes both in the stands and on the park.

The home side suffered an extra-time setback as Posh regained the lead on aggregate but Callum Paterson netted to level the tie 5-5 before Wednesday emerged victorious in a 5-3 penalty shootout success.
Windass has experienced facing Celtic in the Old Firm during his time with Rangers but says nothing comes close to what he experienced on Thursday night.
Uploading a number of pictures from the night of drama, Windass wrote: "The best atmosphere I have ever experienced in any football stadium.
"Truly phenomenal. However, it's only the semi-final and got one more hurdle to over come. See you all next week."
He followed that up with another picture of Liam Palmer's 98th minute leveller and celebrations including himself holding his hands in the air with the caption: "When you can't celebrate because of fatigue so just put your hands in the air and take in the view."
