Ex-Rangers player Ryan Jack spotted training with Arsenal superstar

Ex-Rangers ace Ryan Jack has been pictured putting in a solid pre-season graft in Dubai while he remains without a club.

And the Scotland international has been spending time with Arsenal and England midfielder Declan Rice while doing so.

Jack, 32, was one of five major first-team players to leave Ibrox at the end of their contracts in June.

The decision not to renew his contract meant that the player departed the Scottish Premiership side after seven years.

Since that call made by Philippe Clement, Jack has yet to find a new team, although, did participate in Steve Clarke's Euros squad in Germany.

His last competitive game for Rangers came in a 2-2 draw away to Benfica in the Europa League earlier this year.

So, in order to keep himself fit and ready for a return to action, he's been putting in the hard yards while spending time in the United Arab Emirates.

He and Rice have been spotted training with renowned fitness coach Chris Bowman at the Elite Sports Performance centre in Dubai.

The pair looked to be working up a sweat in the intense summer heat in the Middle East, as Rice prepared for Arsenal's first game of the season on Saturday, August 17 at home to Wolves.

It remains to be seen if Jack will sign for a new team before domestic campaigns get underway across Europe.

It was reportedly earlier this summer that Standard Liege knocked back the chance to sign him, while Tony Docherty is believed to be keen on taking him to Dens Park.
