Former Rangers defender Derek Cornelius is recovering after suffering a 'gruesome injury' in training, according to Canada boss Jesse Marsch.
Cornelius had a disastrous loan spell at Ibrox last season and didn't feature at all after November following a bust-up with ex-Rangers boss Danny Rohl.
The 28-year-old later lashed out at the German boss and accused him of 'disrespecting him.'
Cornelius was back playing for Marseille and preparing for Canada's international against Chile.
But he broke down in training after suffering a dislocated hip.

Marsch explained: "It was a bit of a gruesome injury with Derek, just the way that it happened.
"We all could see and hear right away that Derek was severely injured.
“With the nature of how it happened – which was non-contact, he just got stuck in the grass a little bit – we were all worried.
"And you could see even on Derek’s face, he was worried."
However, after he was rushed to hospital, Cornelius received some good news.
Marsch said: "It will take some time with the injury but it looks, as it stands right now, like it’s something that he should be able to recover from fully relatively quickly."
