  • The 47-year-old manager shared his heartbreak on Instagram, stating he was absolutely broken and requesting privacy for his family.
  • Darvel FC, where Novo currently serves as team manager, confirmed the passing on Facebook and offered their condolences.
  • Neither the family nor Darvel FC has disclosed the cause of the 26-year-old's death.
  • Spanish-born Novo made more than 250 appearances for Rangers after moving to the Scottish club in 2004.
