FORMER Rangers player Joey Barton showed his affection for Marseille by sitting in the away end at Tottenham last night.
The 40-year-old played for the French side on loan during the 2012/13 season.
The current Bristol Rovers manager had admitted he formed a strong bond with supporters while in France.
And last night he joined fans of the club in London as they played Spurs in the Champions League.
It's said that Barton appeared in a Tottenham pub prior to the group stage game.
The Marseille fans sang Barton's name and was gifted a club t-shirt.
He was pictured both walking with fans in the streets of north London, as well as inside the stadium at the game.
