Ex of Love Island's Aaron Waters says star 'bullied and body shamed' her in emotional rant

Love Island Australia star Courtney Stubbs broke down in tears as she discussed Aaron Waters after he made his debut on the UK series.

Aussie influencer Courtney took to social media to slam her ex Aaron after alleging he 'bullied' her for her acne and weight. Courtney, 25, coupled up with Aaron, 26, on the third season of Love Island Australia in 2021 but the star said the experience with him left her in tears.

After seeing her ex on Love Island UK, Courtney called out the reality star and accused him of bullying her during their time together on the show. She told fans on TikTok: "I have never addressed this before... because every time I think about it, it makes me want to bawl my eyes out."

Courtney continued: "[Aaron] has gone on to love Island UK and first thing he wanted to do was in his promotion was drag me. Now this isn't the first time he's dragged me, so it's something I'm quite used to, honestly. But after a year's time, I thought, 'Surely he would just stop talking badly about me?"

"He bullied me, belittled me, he skin-shamed me, he body-shamed me. He would constantly tell me to f**k off [and] shut up the whole show, and made it his personal vendetta against me to make sure every single guy felt the same way he felt about me,'" she added.

Before entering the Love Island UK, Aaron described Courtney as his "least favourite" female co-star from his season in a VT. He also told the Islanders he was "the king of the situationship" but hopes to settle down soon.

Courtney told fans that she has never publicly called Aaron out before on his alleged behaviour as she didn't know how to respond at the time.

She claimed Aaron would constantly make digs at her appearance by saying he preferred 'clean girls' and 'girls who took care of their skin' - despite Courtney taking medication for her severe acne.

"I literally had cystic acne on my face, which I obviously already felt so insecure about going on TV with my skin like that,' she said in the emotional video.

"So, to have someone to point that out to you, I'm like, 'Oh great. Guys are going to notice this the whole show,'' she said

Courtney also revealed Aaron would allegedly criticise her weight by saying he 'likes [it] when girls take care of their bodies and go to the gym'. While she was struggling to lose weight at the time and wasn't feeling confident in herself.

Breaking down in tears, she added: "So I was going on the show, not feeling confident in my skin, not feeling confident in my body, and then he literally just straight up the first morning in the villa shamed me for my skin and my body."

In her final video discussing her time with Aaron, she said: "I don't know how men get away with bullying girls, belittling girls, telling girls they're fat and their skin is bad. All I did was get bullied by him. And then this is what I have to deal with... And it would just be nice for people to actually know what he's like."

After the video was released, Love Island 2022 finalist Tasha Ghouri offered her support to Courtney in the comment section. She wrote: "Oh my…. I’m sending you so much love, I watched you on the plane when I was on my way to Australia and you are SO gorgeous and so funny!" as Courtney replied: "That’s is so kind, thank you."
