It got too much for one co-host, who walked away
(Picture: YouTube)Former NFL head coach, Rex Ryan, has made light of his notorious foot fetish after dropping a hilarious reference to it during Monday’s ESPN.
Discussing Aaron Rodgers’ foot injury following Green Bay Packers’ defeat against Chicago Bears this weekend, Ryan told the hosts he was “a toe expert” and his co-hosts couldn’t contain themselves.
“Listen, I’m a toe expert,” he said, before swiftly changing the subject, “Let’s just say this: there ain’t nothing wrong with Aaron Rodgers. He threw for 350 yards and four touchdowns,”
“C’mon, stop. Stop it already!” — he said, trying to calm the hosts down from laughing.
Ryan, who coached the New York Jets for six years, was referencing an infamous 2010 clip of a woman’s feet with Ryan’s voice in the background.
For years, the ex-NFL coach has brushed off the clip, telling press conferences: “To be honest, and I get it, I know you need to ask and all that stuff.”

“But it’s a personal matter and I’m really not going to discuss it, OK?”
Ryan said it was between him and his wife, Michelle, and refused to elaborate.
Sources told ESPN that Rodgers’ toe injury is expected to last for the remainder of the season. If he has to have surgery, it will require a pin placed in his toe – and he wouldn’t be able to play.
Speaking about his injury, the Green Bay Packers quarterback said: “I’ve got to see how it reacts on Sunday when I get back out there and play,”
“But this was really, really positive, the time to heal and not doing anything for now going on ten days. That’s been really, really helpful. So we’re hoping that we can get on the other side of this.”
